Welcome to the Oxford Palaeotechnology Society's blog and website - we'll be posting about our activities here and hope you can join us!
The goal of the society is to develop a greater understanding of Palaeotechnologies through discussion, replication, and experimentation. The specific focus will be to bring together people from a variety of research fields to explore a common interest in contextualizing and applying practical and testable methods to the study of the human past. We will be looking and replicating a wide variety of organic and lithic technologies that span the Palaeolothic.
